Eligibility Criteria
The next exam is valid only for UG medical students. Below are the eligibility criteria for the National Exit Test
- UG medical students who are pursuing MBBS
- Foreign Medical Graduates approved by NMC for obtaining licenses and practicing medicine.
- Individuals having a medical degree for pursuing academic courses or observership are approved by NMC.
- Student must have completed MBBS courses with acquiring 50% marks min.
- Students are required to do a 12-month clinical internship after passing the NEXT Paper 1
- Students who meet the criterion are permitted to sit for the NEXT Paper 2
Next Cut-Off
Candidates are required to score minimum cut-off marks for qualifying in the NExT PG exam. Normally, the qualifying criteria for the NExT 1 and 2 are different.
- For NExT 1, the minimum marks for passing are 50%
- For NExT 2, the criteria for passing will be based on a satisfactory demonstration of practical completion. These will be evaluated and declared by the officials.
